Oracle / HP / Multiple Processors.

Question. I have an HP box running HP UX 11.0. Its a k200 with 2 processors and 2 gigs of memory. I would like to speedup query performance and am just wondering how Oracle handles multiple CPU's.

Would adding 2 more CPU's to this box speed up performance on individual queries or only allow more simultaneous queries at the current performance?

just curious how hp/oracle and the k boxes spread out the cpu cycles. 2 more processors isn't that terrible of an expense, but i'd like to speak to anyone who has had experience with that type of upgrade and how it performed before i put a po out for it.
