We are having a memory problem with Oracle Enterprise Edition 8.0.5.1.1.

Processes connecting and accessing tables with gigbytes of data are taking hundreds of meg of real memory
We are running V8.0.5.1.1 on Digital Unix V 4.0d SGA is 1.2 gig
We tested an ANALYZE command against a 15 mil row table and the local sqlplus process took over 500 meg of memory Is anyone else having these problems
