with 8 years experience, I would expect that you would get more benefit
from the OCP from a personal growth perspective than from employment.
In the Washington DC / Baltimore area, the going rate I have seen from
recruiters is around $80K/yr, no OCP, 3-5 years experience, for
permanent FT work, and about 1.5 - 2 times that for hourly/contract
work.
