What is the memory foot-print of 8i compared to 8.0.5. From what I have seen in the docs it is 48 MB vs 128 MB miminum for installation (for NT). The question is if this is for installation or does 8i require 80 M more than 8.0.5 for running as well? For a small system where 128 gives decent performance should I use 256 for 8i (I am running a development server on 128 MB)?

How stable is 8i compared to 8.0.5? I have not yet dared to start using 8i.
