CREATE PROFILE QUESTION

Ok,
i read the "Create pofile" dml statement.

See its like this, we have say 20 online users, doing simple queries and such
but then we have one user who is able to execute very complex queries. (multple tables, outer joins etc etc). Can we use ":Create profile" to stop this user from eating away system resources, so it wont bother the other 20 users.

Is it possible to execute the complex query but on a lower priority, because "Create profile" causes
the session the abort if it is too "gready"...

thanks in advance. Received on Sun Sep 05 1999 - 14:56:47 CDT
