Hello Thiru,
these commands did not work for me. I most likely did something wrong in the listener.ora file.
Today I managed to make the standard listener listen on both IP adresses. This is what I originally wanted to do. I just forget to make the listener read his config file anew. Today I found the 'reload' command in my my old notes and it is working.
So there is no need for further inquieries except for academical interests. ;-)
