Re: Can an 8.0.5 client connect to an 8.1.5 Server?

In tnsnames.ora for Oracle 8.0.5 you must specify SID name of database to connect and in Oracle 8.1.5 SID name replace to SERVICE name. May be therefore 8.0.5 client can't connect to 8.1.5 server.
