I have found that the minimum requirements stated in the install guide is
inadequate.  I would check your kernal parameters (/etc/system), probably
increase them, and usually increase your swap space.



I was on a Ultra 10 w/256MB RAM, and had to have my swap space at 512M
before getting a successfull install...
