I have setup Oracle multimaster replication a few times before, and I have read many different Oracle replication whitepapers/notes etc on support.oracle.com, as well as provided by third party. So in terms of resources it is quite a lot.

In the pre-Replication Manager era, setting up the MM replication is extremely complicated, as the scripts to run and setup is rather long. But using RepMgr 1.4 and after, it has been extremely simplified. I was able to setup MM replication between 2 different site within half an hour. The steps I have documented are in

http://web.singnet.com.sg/~petermag/oracle.html ---> "Replication Setups Procedures", which is a word file.

If u search for the word "Replication" within this web page, u can also find many different rep-related whitepapers etc.
