COBOL External/Stored Procedures

Is it there a way to make external procedures for Oracle 8.1.5 in Cobol?

The documentation talks about Pro Cobol in a very vague way but we have not been able to find anything definitive about the matter!

What we need to do is to migrate from DB2 and have a few Cobol Stored procedures catalougued in the DB that shold be ported to Oracle.
