What are the different ways to upgrade to a new release?

Hi -



We are planning to upgrade our database from 7.3 to 7.4.  Yes we are way
behind and we are not even thinking about Oracle 8 or 8i.



I would appreciate information on different ways one can go about doing
this and the steps involved.
