I have install oracle 8i 8.1.5 database and enterprise 2.0 on NT (PDC)
I tried to connect sql plus with alais/Host string with "orant" which i
have define in Net8 Easy Configuration with Tcp/Ip address "191.1.1.100"
.It works fine when i try to connect with SQL Plus. But when i try to
use the same host string with Security Manager It gives me an error "
"TNS Could not resolve service name". While if i write
<server name>:<port address>:<SID> it connect to database. Do i need to
configure any other service for that.
