We are using mirrored disks on Compaq NT servers for two Oracle 7.3.4 databases. One is heavily write-oriented. Chose mirroring for redundancy, not performance issues. Two disks are hot and handle majority of reads/writes, yet our NT admin says disk stats are fine since the controllers have plenty of cache available.
