Oracle server for FreeBSD

I've seen a lot of references for Oracle8 on Linux. Does anyone know if Oracle plans to have a native release for FreeBSD? I believe it's possible to run the Linux version on FreeBSD but it requires a complete Linux environment to work.
I'm not against using the Lnux operating system, I'm just more comfortable with the networking on FreeBSD.
