Poor Performance PL/SQL 8.0.5

After migration from ORACLE 7.3.2 to 8.0.5 (OS: HP UX 10.20) we have a very poor performance when executing PL/SQL packages. With ORACLE 7.3.2 the execution of PL/SQL was up to 40 % faster. Within the PL/SQL packages we are using often PL/SQL-tables (index-by-tables).
