ORA-01578

Hi,
I created a database manually, but when I try to drop the tablespace I get:

ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-01578: ORACLE data block corrupted (file # 1, block # 3883)
ORA-01110: data file 1: '/u02/oradata/CC1/systemCC101.dbf'
I get the same messages when I try to create a table in the tablespace. How can I drop a segment and re-create it? How do you un-create a database - where can I get information about how to do this? The DBA handbook doesn't cover this. Received on Wed Jun 09 1999 - 22:17:00 CDT
