Actually the Performance goes down if ORACLE trace is enabled. Apart from stopping the Trace via the Listener.ora file (EPC_DISABLED=TRUE) , I was told by Oracle Corp to delete the process.dat file from the $ORACLE_HOME/otrace/admin directory . Databases are running fine as ever.
