HELP: CONFIG MTS SERVER ORA 8.0.4 ON WIN NT

I am trying to configure an NT oracle server (8.0.4) to run with the Multi-threaded server (MTS) configuration, using the Instance Manager GUI.

I am following the documented instructions, but when I fill out the MTS_DISPATCHERS field the app complains of an invalid syntax in that field

I have tried MTS_DISPATCHERS:

(PROTOCOL=TCP)(DISPATCHERS=2) as documented in the Oracle material

also tried variants such as TCP,2

In any case, I cannot get the server to run in MTS mode, even when directly editing my init.ora file

Any hep would be appreciated
