Re: Oracle 8i and tools (Designer etc.)

I guess I just got lucky because I had the enterprise version of 8.0.5 installed, then installed WebDB, then de-installed both and installed 8.1.5 and then (again) WebDB. It all worked out; however without the 8.0.5 install it sounds like you're between the rock and the hard place.

You need to have a database operating in order to install WebDB but you need to install the non-multi-homed product first?
