When Oracle went from 7.2 to 7.3, they didn't make it available on SCO 3.2v4.2 - only on OpenServer 5. Of course, we had a shop full of 3.2 machines, and had to upgrade them all.

Then when Oracle released 8, they announced that it would only be available for Unixware, not for OpenServer 5.

I'm not upgrading SCO again. If I ever really feel the need to go to 8 (maybe when 8i is out and stable), I'll do it on linux.
