Oracle Monitoring Tools

I was wondering if anyone know of some good monitoring tools for Oracle7 and Oracle8. I am new to Oracle and would like some feedback (pros and cons) for various applications. I am looking for a tool that will be both reactive and proactive.

I have a copy of a product from Quest software. Has anyone used this product?
