WRKS.exe keeps crashing (running OAS 4.0 / JWeb)

My newbie OAS question:
I'm learning OAS. I currently have a simple, helloworld-ish OAS 4.0 app (using Jweb cartridge) running on my Windows NT workstation box, and it seems to have a problem with WRKS.exe crashing. Frequently.

If I run the app (go to the URL from a web browser), it runs okay.... but then, after several minutes of no usage of the app, I get a crash -- WRKS.exe crashes (tripping QNC.exe). It doesn't crash the whole system, it's, um, a pretty well- controlled crash actually (i.e. if I run the browser again, and go back to the URL, then OAS is able to re-start whatever it needs). But even though this crash doesn't seem to do any real damage, I'd like to know what's going on.

Anyone know why WKRS.exe is crashing?

Or for that matter: What is OAS trying to do that causes WRKS to crash? I get the impression that after several minutes of inactivity, OAS is automatically shutting down the application, is that correct? (I also get the WRKS crash when I manually shut down the app.)

Thanks
-Dave
