You're correct...installing the Oracle8 Performance Utility should have loaded the counters into the NT Performance Monitor. You can always try it manually, with:

lodctr %ORACLE_HOME%\dbs\opctrnm.ini - for Oracle7 lodctr %ORACLE_HOME%\dbs\opctrn80.ini - for Oracle8
