You mean performance problem while importing ? Hmm... In fact, there may be a serious problem with cache manager. Even if 'Maximize performance for Network Apps' is set, Cache Manager tends to steal memory from apps to satisfy large number of disk requests (especially while importing).
Try using cacheset tool from www.sysinternals.com but sometimes NT ignores set cache size limitation (!).
