question on replication

Hello

I'm trying to build an advanced replication enviornment with Oracle 8 Enterprise Server. I've to use advanced replication because I would like to use updateable snapshots in a multi master configuration.

Here a few questions:
- Can I mix Oracle 8 Enterprise and Oracle 8 Server in an advanced
  replication enviornment when the master group definition is   stored on the Enterprise Server?

• Can I mix Oracle 8 with Oracle 7 either in basic or in advanced repication enviornments?
