Oracle 8i

Hi, Everybody,

Recently I heard lots of "noise" about Oracle 8i, while I read some documents about it, I still don't know what is the relationship between Oracle 8i and Oracle 8: in future we will get Oracle new versions like Oracle 8.1, Oracle 8.2 , Oracle 8.3 ... ( like what happened to Oracle 7 ) Or we only get new versions like Oracle 8i.1, Oracle 8i.2 Oracle 8i.3 ...( Means no more regular Oracle 8) Or Both? We have a Client/Sever system based on Oracle 8, if we get Oracle 8i as future versions, will it support Client/Server Architecture? What is the biggest change we can expect from Oracle 8i?

Any suggestions are appreciated.
