Retrieving images stored in Long Raw to a webpage

I´m using OAS 4 and the Content service. (I´m storing images in a Long Raw Column). In the example oracle provides it is shown how to download the files but not how to display the image on a webpage. I know i have to set the mime header to image but not how to retrive the gif and "print" it out.

Some code would be really appreciated.
