Connect to ORACLE Server

Hello All,

Somebody could explain me (or help me), how to connect a CLIENT of the ORACLE with the SERVER?
How do I begin to?
I am using for effect of tests ORACLE 8 (Trial). I can connects it with a CLIENT using PERSONAL ORACLE 7?
