Problem With Database Asst. On nt4 and 8.0.5

My db assistant just doesnt run . on any nt machine ive tried it on.
javaw.exe runs in the background and sucks up cpu, but the app never starts
up. Same with net8easyconfig. Any Ideas?? Has anyone had this happen? Thanks
for help
