Yes it does, But it depends also on your Database Structure (physical &
Logical).
Also I found it without effect where the clients application was not
utilising those resources because it was not designed to run BOB & VLM.
There are specific requirements to be met when it comes to warehouse design.
What I was trying to explain, 64-bit Option is Not a new feature to Oracle
Servers. It was available on 7.1 for Digital Unix.
and that to really see any performance gains It requires
1- TRUE 64-bit OS.
2-TRUE 64-bit Hardware "I/O Controllers & Disks"
