  1. "alter database backup controlfile to trace"
  2. Edit this controlfile Change Create-Command the createcomand looks like "create controlfile set <new-databasename> ... RESETLOGS
  3. change the open command alter database open resetlogs
  4. create an new controlfile

Of course you should alter some filenames

5. Now you should change the DB-Name in init.ora and adapt the Enviromentsettings (Regestry, etc.)
