You should use the Objects Option of Oracle8. There should be great enhancements to the C++/Oracle connection, although I did not see them. A few weeks ago I visited a Oracle8 New Features course, where I was told the
new features, but unfortunately the teacher didn't know a lot of the Objects Option and
there was no ProcC++ on the exercise machine. But what the teacher knew was, that the
object options costs extra licence fee ($$$). Marcus Scholten
