Er, yes, as that's what 1/2 of them ship with as a console. You have to use a different mindset on UNIX from NT, IMHO.

Try running about 5 large(ish), intensive GUI apps on your PC with Win95 on NT. Although NT is *much* more stable, you still expect - and get - problems from time to time.

Now try the same thing on the same PC running UNIX (SCO, Caldera, RedHat). It'll keep you much happier - especially later on this year when Oracle ships on Linux.

Cue flames about Linux/UNIX from Micro$oft fans... :-)
