Subject: Multiple schemas versus multiple databases

I am looking for any information concerning experiences (opinions are also welcome) of having two COTS packages running in the same database versus separate databases on the same server. The server is an HP T600 4cpu with 1.2G RAM running HP-UX 10.20. The COTS packages are PeopleSoft's HR system and Resumix's human skills management system. A third possible COTS package that could be introduced into this system is Deltek's Financial application Costpoint.

Thanks!
