I think you will find these machines are not certified with Oracle Parallel Server, I will make a couple of points :

  1. All NT clusters must use the same hardware on each node, you can not have an Alpha 2000 on one node and 4000 on another.
  2. Oracle supports Failover with MSCS and FailSafe 2.1.2 (out in a few weeks on Alpha NT).
  3. Parallel server for Alpha NT is only available with 7.3.3.3.0, to check what Hardware Digital have certified please see : http://www.windows.digital.com/clusters/OPS/
