Hey

Sqlplus80 uses SQL*Net8 ,
which has configuration in ,<ORA_HOME>\NET80\ADMIN\

Sqlplus3.x uses SQL*Net2.x ,
which has configuration in ,<ORA_HOME>\NETWORK\ADMIN\

You must "copy" Tnsnames.ora from ..NET80.. to ..NETWORK..
