Hi all,
Is there a way to execute a stored procedure (or any other program unit in the database)periodically after a certain interval of time. For example a procedure runs by itself after half an hour to see whether a certain assignment has been completed or not, if not the priority of that assignment is altered or something like that to reflect it's severety.
I've heard that MS-SQL Server has something of the sort. I'm using Oracle 7.3.3 on Sun Solaris

Thank U
