Wouldn't go as far as 'no TARS required' :-)

We have migrated a couple of datawarehouses from 7.3.3 to 8.0.4 on AIX and it's been fine. Partitioned tables have massively improved some of our queries and monthly clean-up/load procedures - just a bugger that Oracle charge extra for it...
