Hi All,
This is not strictly an oracle question but I'm a bit stumped as to who to ask.
I'm writing a cron for nt4 in pro*c
which fires off commands/procedures etc with features that the job control doesn't provide (before somebody mentions that). I have integrated my code with the VC++ 5 service example code and the service
installs/deinstalls and runs as command line in debug mode just fine. But when I start the serice via control panel I get NT internal error 2140. Game over, no clues at all.
I have also increased the default timeouts on
"service starting" messages to 9000 millisecs
so I don't think its that.
Any suggestions welcomed...
Thanks
Steve Haynes
