We all started some time and learned. And forgot.

I have been working with Oracle for 11 years, but spent the last 24 hours trying to figure out why an index rebuild was running out of room. It finally dawned on me 2 hours ago to check the default pctincrease parm of the temporary tablespace.

I wish the Elisonians had decided to set the defaults to 0 or 1 instead of 50.
