NT Oracle vs. Unix Oracle

I currently have an Access95 db that will be migrating to Oracle8. We have the choice of purchasing Oracle8 for either HPUnix or NT/Winframe. Users will talk to the database using a VB application on a Winframe server. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using these platforms for Oracle?
