I am also having the same problem since upgrading from 7.3.2 on NT4.0 SP3 to 8.0.4, except I get this error when I go into Navigator, Service Discovery, Manually Define Services.. then just type 1 character in the node name!!

Any ideas before I find it, please email cengland_at_datamirror.com
