*sigh* what is frustrating is that it is SO easy to put together an oracle rpm. I've done so, but, i can't distribute it because of oracle's licensing (no shocker here), however, i've been trying to convince oracle that it would be a good thing(tm) to have an rpm distribution of workgroup server so that people could deploy oracle on linux environments. Admittedly, a set of precompiled apps would be nice.

anyone wanna pull out the sword and see if you can convice your friendly oracle sales rep to assist?

kool! see if you can convince those people that they want to have me send them (the oracle folks) the rpm so that they can give it to you (legit) and let you test it out for me :)
