Moving Long Raw from db to another using db links

Hello,

Can a long raw field by copied from one db to another? Could i set the sql*plus environment variables SET LONG / SET LONGCHUNKSIZE and move a 2 meg long raw. I was thinking of using a command like insert into table1 as select * from table2_at_mydblink.

Any suggestions???
