Oracle Names mystics

Because our database-installations increase rapidly, I want to use the Oracle*Names service for easier administration.

I've installed Names-Servers on different machines and configured it using
the java-based program 'SQL*NET assistent'. (It seems to be very beta, but
that's another story).

The Names-servers works fine; but after some days, the cpu won't go idle
-

'ps' tells me that this service use all of the cpu-time.

A restart of the Names-servers stops the workload for some days. Also, the statistics (namesctl status) seems to display random values, specifically the uptime.

I'm using the Names-server from Enterprise 8.0.3 Sparc/Solaris.

Anyone expirienced the same problem, or - at best - has a solution ?

Thanks,
  bye jm
