   Hi!

I don't know about any site running as many users, but if you look at the specs for NT it should be able to handle up to 40 000 users! ( This is accomplished with multiple servers)

300 users on such a powerful machine as you are describing won't be any problem with neither NT nor Oracle as I can see it. Just remember that disk and memory is cheap! =)
