IN Northern - Oracle Database Analyst                *  
Salary: $40-80K

Primary Oracle Database Analyst for all application servers in an 11 location distributed client/server environment throughout the US and Mexico. Responsibilities cover installtion, upgrades, and performance/timing of operating systems (HP/UX and NT), Oracle database servers, SAP administration, other 3rd party software, and in-house developed applications. Will share responsibilities for maintaining backup/recovery procedures, Unix scripts, Gateways (SNA, MDI), and Internet/Web access.

Strong Unix management support skills required:HP/UX experience preferred. Windows NT server experience desirable.
Oracle administrative experience required. Sybase database performance and timing preferred/TCP/IP and netwroking skills preferred.

Must be a good problem solver and have reasonable people-interface skills. It is desirable that the person be well-read, be capable of doing product research and evaluation, and be a source of information on new technologies. Must have good work habits and operate without direct supervision.
