Sorry, I don't have experience with your hardware, but you _must_ get your TCP/IP working properly before starting with any of the other stuff. Specifically, you must be able to ping the server from the clients, using the hostname. Have you configured whatever is the Mac equivalent of the /etc/hosts file properly?
