Then don't forget Linux/Alpha, especially on one of those new 600Mhz monsters. They beat the PPRO on all aspects and totally the crap out of the PPRO if you look at fp speed. I've heard Linux/Alpha also runs Linux/x86 binaries, too, now with a new product from Digital.

There's a *free* CDE for Linux in the making (sorry, forgot the url, but there is a WWW page about the project out there, with stuff to download!).
