Applications Programmer/ DBA for a highly recognized entertainment company that is continuing the development of a WWW server platform for the support of existing and future Internet-based shopping, interactive advertising and =93digital channels=94. It is expected that about half-ti= me
will be spent with day-to-day DBA activities for the development systems (including on-going operations monitoring & usage reporting, as well as the establishment of a data warehouse for marketing & navigation data analysis), with the balance of effort involved in application development. Required experience: extensive (3+ yrs.) Oracle, Sybase, DB2; 3+ yrs. developing UNIX-based applications; 1+ yrs. developing Web-based applications. Desired Skills: C++, Java, cgi scripting (perl 5) SQL, SQL/NET, Oracle APIs (OCB, DBTool++), stored procedures, CASE tools (e.g.: E/RWin.)
Salary range is $70-85K.
